When Flashback was tasked with branding for luxury real estate firm, The Knowles Company, we did not take it lightly. The Knowles Company (TKC) has served the Maine real estate industry since 1898. Today they offer luxury real estate and vacation rental services. The company wanted to give its well-established brand a more modern and updated look.
They partnered with Flashback and Story Silo Media to refresh their brand in an effort to grab new attention in the market. It was essential for the TKC team and its customers to retain as much brand recognition as possible. The new logo needed to be approachable but still have a luxury appeal.
In addition to the new logo, the brand colors were updated to better stand out in the market. These changes included the addition of an orange accent color, which distinguished TKC from many other real estate firms whose color palettes are dominated by blue. The new logo and added monogram designs pulled elements from the original marks but were designed to appear more modern, professional, and premium.

The successful brand refresh introduced an updated logo and fresh brand colors. A distinguishing orange accent was incorporated to differentiate TKC from competitors primarily using blue. While the new logo and monogram designs included elements from the original, they are redesigned to appear modern, professional, and premium, accurately reflecting TKC's position in the luxury real estate market.
